Wisconsin man, 76, gets life in prison for shooting 13-year-old neighbor to death

It really is, If he thought the kid had robbed him he should have gone to the police. Being a vigilante is against the law in every state. But this is just conjecture, I do not know the details of this case.

Should I be rioting and stealing some TV's? I'm at a loss!! This is just another assault against old people, that's what it is!!

Care to elaborate on your position or are you making a joke?

Have Jackson, Holder, Sharpton or Obama shown up yet to determine what REALLY happened?? Can't solve a case without those crime stoppers!!!

I actually think he got a light sentence given his age. He wasn't far from an old folks home anyway and there isn't much difference between that and prison. I DO think however, that his age had something to do with his actions. He may not be criminally insane by definition but I think age was taking a toll on his thinking.

Sad yes, But what side? Yes I;m sorry a young man was killed. But you can not debate this because only one side is told. Like I said I am not condoning what he did.
Now this guy has been living in the same house most of his life probably a nice neighbor hood years ago. (White flight thing) He decided to stay. Now he lives like a white spot on a bowling ball. He has been robbed more then once, harassed daily, But trying to hold on to the small thing he owns. My question is how much can you take before you POP? Were are the parents teaching these young kids "Can't we all just get along " Maybe he should of followed what the lib's are preaching just run away.
A Complaint to the cops only goes so far after you call them 10 or more times you become a biget or a raciest just asking for help.

"How much can you take before you pop?"

I don't know... HOW MUCH CAN YOU TAKE before you shoot a 13 year old kid in cold blood?

I still think age and, possibly something like alzheimers, may have effected the shooters decision making. Sad story for sure.

Guess we'll see my hair is still it's natural color I'll let you know when I;m grayed. No comment on the parent's thing??

Not to make light of this tragedy in any way but to say he shot the kid "in cold blood" is not correct. In cold blood means for no reason whatsoever. The shooter thought he had reason, in his own mind anyway. Using the term "in cold blood" seems to be getting used to improperly dramatize what really happened.

1. Look it up.

2. When a grown man kills a child IN COLD BLOOD, you most certainly do not need to dramatize a thing.
