Agreed - you'd think he'd AT LEAST get an estimate from a few collectors before just passing it along to the Treasury. He probably needs the $$ quickly and just didn't think it was worth it. Kind of nutty though - even if someone just paid him 2X the face value for them he'd double his money.

Anyway guy found a bunch of money....over 1k in bills in a metal box while tearing down a barn.......brought to bank for new bills net profit = face value
