Wireless Headphone Update

Radio Shack says they have wireless phones that will work with my md . They also said I could try them out and if I didn't like them I could return them within 30 days . I'm going to give to give them a try . I'll update my findings . HH

Good to hear (no pun intended). The Radio Shack model # 33-1253 is the one that was recommended to me. Just curious if that's the one you're getting to try. Let us know how it goes & what model detector you're using.

Got my wireless headphones yesterday . Steady rain here so I haven't hunted with them yet . I did some air tests compairing them to my regular phones + couldn't tell any difference . If it ever quits raining I'll try them over dirt . HH

Please keep us posted! My headphones are way too big and keep falling off. Wireless would help solve that problem!

I want in on this one as well. I have a set of White's headphones. Even though they work really well, my ears get sore after awhile of having those things on my head. Plus the cable can be a pain sometimes.

Ever so often when not paying as much attention as I should I catch myself just about to cut the cord to my headphones! It's just a matter of time 'cause you all know how accident prone I am. Monty

I really wanted to get out + try out those phones today but it rained all day again . I did drive around + check out some new sites . Found a couple that looks promising . One is an old racetrack + the other is an old school . As soon as I can get out + give the phones a decent workout I'll post my findings on what I think about them . HH

When you give your test results could you elaborate a bit on the headphones? Im wondering how they interface with the detector,Im sure there must be a device with a plug on it the slides into the headphones jack but I fear if its to large it may have an accident and get snapped off...Shoot

Are these things safe to use I was going to purchase a pair, but a guy came talking to me on one of my roman sites and said he knew someone who had cancer of the ear and thought it was the radio waves from his headset?
just a thought I do not want to be a kill joy. I know there are similiar fears from regular use of cell phones?
