wire back eagle button

I've never seen wires on the back of a button like this. The wire is soldered on. Superior Quality on back. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thats a US Army Great Seal cap pin with the SUPERIOR QUALITY backmark. Probably WWI or WWII.
