Shopped at the outdoor flea market today, even though it was freezing and even snowy. Picked up a few neat pieces:

-old clay pipe stem
-old leather powder ball bag?

Would like your opinions on these pieces. They both appear to be quite old but I am suspicious that they might not be as old as they appear. Paid $8 for the pair.

I find those broken pipes all the time. I always chuck them back now.

Look to be every bit as old as they appear. Great find...

I thought the bag was an old buffalo scrotum flask until I saw the seam in it. Is that a coin used to make the top? I see a reeded edge. The Kaolin pipe is cool. I wish I lived in an area where I could find so many that I could just "chuck them back". lol
