Squirrel hunting and metal detecting today, no squirrels but did find an old shotshell base and a Wards Extra Power .22 LR case.

Sounds like a fun day. Those little .22 shells give me all sorts of problems in the sandy terrain I've been digging in. They blend right in and are hard to spot and my magnet won't sift them...

cheers,

I also found some of the old Winchester repeater shells.. My husband made one into a pendant. I want to be sure that I am correct on the date of these shells. If I understand correctly they are from 1920-1927 if they do not have made in the USA on them?winchester shells.jpg

Not sure on the date issue, but wanted to compliment the pendant. He does nice work.

cheers,
