looks llike it may have some gold if it is in the area... Got the fever bad...

Well freddy, it's right in the middle of the Rockies in prime gold and silver country. This area right here is known more for molybdenum; the Henderson Mill is just west of these pics. I panned that creek and didn't pan out any color, but gold is where you find it. That last pic is actually the Gore Range above the Blue River Valley, and there is gold up there. Somewhere in that pic might be the legendary 'Lost Ledge of Gold'. Here where I'm at in Frisco is more of a silver area. I know some guys who panned 10 mile creek all the way down from Climax to Frisco, and panned up maybe 2 dollars worth of gold. Maybe they missed it or that's all there was, but I have determined that panning would be a hell of a way to make a living.

Beautiful! I fished Williams Fork last summer and camped on Little Rock Creek on Gore Pass this summer. Two of my favorite places in Colorado. Thanks for the pics!

Just one of my favorite places to camp and take pics. Thank goodness it was warmer today, 20 degrees above. Lots of hunters out, but I think the elk are still up pretty high.
Beautiful captures RGINN.As Ron said, Christmas card quality.

Need more snow to get the elk down lower.

Good to see ya, Jdubya. Yep, we need about a foot of snow on top to bring the elk down. Of course as all of us up here know, they turn in to deer below 9,275ft. elevation.
