NC Digger, good article but I was refering about the reverse proof and W mint mark and pcgs or 70 rather than to the first strike lavel.
I don't see it ever becoming "rare" . A mintage of 300,000 for a circulating coin would be low, but not for a proof coin made for collectors which will have pretty close to a 100% survival rate. Looking at slabbed coins for sale, a grade of 70 doesn't seem too uncommon.
