For sure. I am using a lanyard now.

A lanyard, like around your neck? An arm cuff would be more comfortable.

Glad your Fisher lived to detect another day.

Surfers call them a leash, and ankle cuff to board.

I'm surprised a similar rig is not SOP in the detecting the short water world. But what do I know, coming from the never had a detector, but know all about clumsy, side of the street.

That is a good idea and anyone that detects in water should get something, just for the peace of mind!!
