My son and I were down in Wildwood NJ the week of July 4th. The weather wasnt great, not many people on the beaches. We found a total of 30 dollars and 63 cents. That just about paid for the parking cost. We also found two rings one silver and one silver plated. We also did some fishing with just about as much luck. On the last day of our trip I had just met up with my son and we were headed back to our car when he picked up an envelope that was ready to blow into the surf. Inside was a paycheck for $435.00 . The lifegaurds had just gotten paid before they quit for the day, and one of them had lost his check. We turned it over to the beach patrol and went back to camp. This was also the hottest day and the beaches were crowded. Too bad we had to leave the next morning. It was a great vacation.

i have not been to wildwood in years, use to go every summer when i lived up north, good giving pay check back, some would had just throw it away. good job, 30 some dollars in change thats alot of digging, but u could say you found $465.63 ....rjnail

I'm curious about your hunt though. The Wildwood beaches are huge. Where do you hunt on them. Is anything to be found between the boardwalk and where the people sit?
