Wife and Weedwacker

Last Sunday my wife weedwacked around our fence and kicked out a token badly soiled and barely readable. I used the electrolysis method, which worked well, keeping an eye on it so as not to "cook" it. Anyway can anyone help on some information? One side has the words 'Birthplace of the Declaration of Independence" 1776 on bottom and a picture of a building appearing to be Independence Hall. The other side of the token has writing 'Home of the Phildelplhia Record' dated 1899. And a Picture of a building which I assume is the Philadelphia Record. Token appears to be brass (from the looks on the edge) with gold plating. Anyhow is this token from the year 1899 or later produced. Any information will be appreciated and Thanks for your time in reading this post. -------- Gene ------

Gene, I can't find anything similar to your description. It's my guess that it's a private issue possibly a centenial of the Philadelphia Record which I'm guessing is a newspaper. I also assume it's not a bicentenial of the Declaration of Independence. A pic might help if you can get one.
