I use the change machine at work alot, and I'm in the habit of checking the coins it spits out. I recieved a Georgia Qtr. that looks normal, except it doesn't appear to be clad. The rim has no copper at all. It sounds like a normal clad when dropped on a counter, and it isn't a silver proof.

I've heard the mint produces coins for other countries, could this be a blank from that process?

Also, I have another Georgia qrt that is either a grease filled die or light strike. The GE and the Gia in Georgia are missing or VERY lite. is this a common error?

Any help or appx. value on these 2 coins is appreciated.

Other quarter, non clad

Hi,
I couldn't get a good scan of the other coin. If it helps, it has a D mint mark. It looks like a normal quarter, just no copper on the edge.

Possibly a mint error,if so it is a die filled stamp.Worth what ever you can get for it.Some state quarters that have mint errors goes for some big $$$.Because everybody seems to be collecting these things.
