Anyone see the DATELINE NBC special about this scam..I get at least 3 of these emails a month..They are funny and range from....a female model stuck in Africa because a rich African man lied to her and wiped out her bank account.....or.....Hey you've just won 30 million pounds in a U.K. lottery and if you send us 800 dollars American we will send out the information on how you can claim and collect the winnings...and even one time someone trying to play on the heartstrings of kind generous people by having them send money to a mute boy with no arms or legs and was blind.

UnEarthed72 You getting 2 or 3 a month I am getting 8 or 10 a day I must have ordered something or some info and got on a spam list. Some people must be falling for this or the spam er would find a new way to con money. I started this post to lighten up this board a little I post very little but try to read it every day. Over the last week or so I notices several wars going on. One guys leaving because he dislikes some post about others finds, then theres the T- shirt thing and the bickering about the LD. But wish it was true, would like to buy that house for Gypsy. OK everone smile and lets have fun

This scam has been around for years....you give them you account info and they drain what you have and/or use your personal info to create you some nice debt. One word Fraud! In my opinion if you were going to win or inherit money a legit lawyer would contact you personally or at least by phone to set up a meeting. Just some advice. JD in WV

I hear you bja3908,I got a laugh from your post when I was reading it and the replies,I found it very enlightening as well.At first I was thinking is this guy serious,then figured you were just screwing around.

ah the old something for nothing 419 scams* ---(ie) your going to get a butt load of money for doing basically nothing--(*except giving me your banking or other personal info --or sending me some sort of "fee" in some way to get the "free millions") ---that folks still fall for this BS scam on a daily basis after all the warnings and the fact that "common" sense should send you running from it --just goes to show that stupidity and greed go hand in hand and are sadly both stupidity and greed are alive and well in the ole USA --- Ivan

Thanks Guys for your concern but at 54 yo I have seen a lot of scams in my time and would not fall for this scam. Just tring to lighten thing up a little last week. Anyway Jeff never got back to me about the party at his place.
