Why The Sad Face ?

This is this afternoons finds. Had a medieval buckle approx 13th century, a cut short cross hammered coin 12th/13th century, a small square lead object with a design on it, maybe a weight or token, a piece of gilded medieval metal work. And lurking in the shadow of the picture bottom right, piece of lead with what looks like a very sad face on it. :(

Very good finds. You can tell they been in the ground for a long time. Did you think that maybe you got that one piece upside down, turn it around and it won't be a sad face but a happy one. :laughing7:
