Why some items steal your imagination

I believe I have dug up approximately 25 lbs. (55kg) of harness iron since yesterday. A lot of it is posted under Metal Detecting Relics forum. This piece just captured my imagination. It needs to be repurposed; a place to hang keys, a door knocker, or just wall art. As a side note, my wife helped me again today. This buried harness dump is Big! I think she’s getting hooked. She said she doesn’t like the searching as much as the digging. Am I lucky, or what? 🍀👍🏼

I’ve repurposed some of my finds since we have a modern farmhouse. I still a lot of large iron pieces I haven’t even cleaned that are a yr old
