Why No Delete? Can't close account?

Looking at your past posts, I don't think the moderators would
have any issue removing your account (can't speak for them,
so that's just my opinion) .......but you'll need to ask
them to do it.
 

Im not sure either. I posted a question about dinosaurs being real after watching what I thought was a moderately compelling you tube video. I thought it raised some interesting questions that had at least some merit. I have an open mind and enjoy challenging my beliefs. Unfortunately it wasn't well recieved. I was blamed for pushing some kind of religous agenda (!??) Yet I am not a member of any religion... I was dumbfounded at being shot down. I also couldnt delete the thread or my account. I ended up editing my posts with the old three dot method ....
Im not sure where the thread was moved to. Im not sure what the content of your threads were that started the harassment but if it was something similar to my experience then I feel sorry for you.

Inflection, we have a forum for music and videos, they do not belong on all forums, especially back to back.

Only mods and admins can lock a thread, threads are owned by TreasureNet, not the original poster who made the thread.

You were not mocked or attacked in the thread, the video you posted was, it was just old anti-evolution theory, if any religion is brought into a thread as a major part of thread it can be locked or removed. Politics and Religion if not directly related to treasure hunting can only be discussed in our politics forum found under charter members.

All threads are owned by TreasureNet once they are posted, only a mod or admin can lock, close or delete a thread, no member can delete the opening post of any thread as it deletes the entire thread. Your thread was moved to quarantine forum which only mods and admins can see.

We also frown on wholesale deleting of posts or editing such as "..." as it destroys the threads since members reply to posts made by members.

I for one like moving all the religion and politic rants to a place I don't have to listen to it and all the trolls and fringe can go do their thing. (not talking about you, chub). Good Rule, TN.
 

Can the Moderator's do anything about my 2nd ex? Now THAT is something I would love to delete! :laughing7::headbang:
