Found this Western Super-X head stamp about 3” down. Quick recovery, for me. I had some tin, nails etc. found around 5” deep and all were giving non-ferrous IDs, so I dug them.
Now, I hate to admit it, but the release handle from a piece of farm equipment took me a little longer than 30 seconds. It was 14” down, with a lot of roots entwined. I dug it, filled the hole and moved on after about 15 minutes. I was being careful so as to not destroy the area. It’s a target that I won’t need to find twice. I like to get rid of the junk as I find it. Have a super weekend and be safe!
