Come on tokens are pretty cool. I'd rather dig those all day instead of memorials. I'm not promissing you anything on not finding any silver before you get over here either. I'll just try not to find all of it before you get here. You just work on getting your detector off that penny finding setting by friday. LOL!!!!!!

Can't say I hate tokens as I am still pretty much a newbe. But one did get the juices flowing while search an old canal (1780s). Pleased at finding some clad and then "what's this". After a quick stumble to the creek for a good cleaning... a Chuckie Cheese token. Still I felt pretty juiced at the possibly finding something other than the usual clad.

Find two more of those and you can wash your car here... :tard:

Some people collect those  I still want a heads or tails token. :tongue3:

I found the same thing here in Utah, & did the same thing, when it came out of the ground all I saw was the eagle & the stars, Thought I was going to have to do the happy dance thinking this was my first 1800 coin. Then turned it over & had to go home & have a stiff drink to offset my disappointment. But all in all it was fun for a minute.
I have been told that it is a car wash token.

game token worth zero cents
crud rotted lincoln worth one cent
I'll take the token please.

i like tokens, well, old tokens. i was detecting in the backyard of an old house in south carolina and discovered where an old clothesline used to be. it was about 20 minutes outside of Myrtle Beach. i ended up finding over 70 "watlings fruit gum" tokens. they were from the thirties and fourties at Myrtle Beach. got some nazi coins too, but that was it.
the token you have i have seen many times before and it is a game room token.

There is actually collectors out there that buy those tokens. Probally won't get no more than a couple of bucks
but it is still a decent find beter than a pull tab, or pop top. The hobby can be frustrating at times, we don't always find what we would like. That is what makes it fun. If we found everything that we liked we would all
probally get bored. The thrill is in the hunt. some days are nothing, some days are WOW look what I found today.
I think that token myself is pretty cool looking. I like the design. If you should post that on ebay send me a pm and
I will throw a bid on it.
Thanks,
Novaman.
