Why I check every flake

Finally snow is gone dirt showing and able to get out for a quick look.

Found a little side notch with tip damage and picked up this little flake that turned out to be a great little graver.

That's what I do. Even if they ain't nothing they're still pretty. I filled up the bottom of an aquarium I had with them some time ago. But there are those you think are just a chip that turn out to be something. I haven't gone artifact hunting in a while now, but things are begging to warm up now and maybe I can get after it.
