Why doent pesos show in rols like canadian coins do?

I think because most tourist-type places in Mexico readily accept the US dollar while in Canada the expectation is to use the Canadian dollar. A lot of that has to do with the quality of the local currency.

That said I have found a few peso coins, as well as other random foreign coins (Switzerland, Brazil, UK).

US and Canadian coins are very similar
If you do not look at them close, you are not going to realize you got a Canadian penny. The dimes and quarters are also very similar in coloring and size so they get passed along from person to person, here in the US and probably Canada. Mexican coins are a different colors when compared to US and Canadian coins. Maybe a Mexican penny, if there is one is similar, but the "dime" and "quarter" dinominated coins do not look the same. I just got 2 Mexican "dimes" in a CWR of dime roll. I can tell you they did not get there by accident based on the color of the things

As fate would have it I found a $1 mexican peso in a roll of nickels last night that I had just bought as of the posting of this thread. :D

Thanks for posting the reference for Canadian and Mexican coins. The Mexican coin I find fairly regularly is the 10 centavos coin, which is similar in size and color to the U.S. dime. Seeing the pictures I can see why it would uncommon to find any of the others. I do still think the wide use of U.S. currency in Mexican tourist and border towns does explain why you still see so few Mexican 10c coins as compared to Canadian dimes in U.S. dime rolls.

I think it is because the 10 centavos has an exchange value of 7/10 of a cent.
