Well.. Wish we had someone on this site who knew such things????? To keep it fair I will let your google experience satisfy your own needs.

Sure . You could go to Politico, What fun is that?!

Excerpted from POLITICO: A finding in a study on the relationship between science literacy and political ideology surprised the Yale professor behind it: Tea party members know more science than non-tea partiers.
Yale law professor Dan Kahan posted on his blog this week that he analyzed the responses of more than 2,000 American adults recruited for another study and found that, on average, people who leaned liberal were more science literate than those who leaned conservative.
However, those who identified as part of the tea party movement were actually better versed in science than those who didn’t, Kahan found. The findings met the conventional threshold of statistical significance, the professor said.
Kahan wrote that not only did the findings surprise him, they embarrassed him.
“I’ve got to confess, though, I found this result surprising.

That's so easy to see though Dave, it has been my experience through life. The people who think they are smart and who try to "speak and act" like they are very intelligent & superior IE: Lib's - Have no common sense as is apparent in nearly every political post on Treasure Net. < They feed the fire with their own responses. :laughing7:

I get a kick out of the Yale Professor trying to find Tea Party groups inferior, then found out otherwise. He should have quit watching MSNBC, Would have made him more open minded at least.

Simply proof that tea party people are thinkers while libs are sheeple ... happily grazing on the lies they are told.

They don't have to think, they don't have to act, they can just be sheeple.

Some of the members of T-net are liberals. Don't some of the comments here represent an attack on those people by other members?

Well, of course Liberals are more intelligent than us, look at the USA today. Isn't life so much better now that more than half our income goes to groups who support abortion, gay rights, professional welfare recipients?

I read the thread. No where was there a put down of liberals. The thread just stated the facts, period. There was no intent at insulting the poor liberals.... Why would it? They do a pretty darned good job of insulting themselves!

Relevance of this thread to the 2nd Amendment?

Well, let's see. Maybe tea party people - being smart enough to actually know what they are talking about in the realm of science ... well, maybe they (because they actuallyt give a damn about the Constitution and Bill of Rights) actually know what it says and can reason it out properly?

Perhaps if you actually read without political bias ... you would see that it was not an attack, although I did personally state my opinion.

No, the truth is never an attack. The article was not an attack on anyone.

Politico has been accused by the left of being too conservative, and by the right of being too liberal.

That is what some would see as fitting neatly into the center. Neither side likes what is reported, so there is likely a bit of fairness ... but I know some don't like that idea.

It doesn't align with either conservatives or liberals --- although it sometimes exposed both sides.

Matt, saying conservatives are idiots is not an insult to a single conservative member here, it is a general statement, saying to member John Doe your a conservative idiot is an insult to member John Doe.

Yes, absolutely they are! "Sheeples" but we can't voice our opinion without it being construed as an attack or insult and the thread being locked. As for the title of this thread that really makes me chuckle! :) But you don't see us calling tea partiers what the last picture infers!

And that happens in both directions. Shout down, shout down.... And pretty soon we go quiet. That happened in '08, and '12. Conservatives were shouted down.

Be aware, the quiet are now speaking, and the tide WILL turn now. Personally I really do not like hearing drums on the horizon. But I hear them now. Protect yourself so that you can protect your family. Those cardboard coffins FEMA has are not to be misinterpreted.....

Indecent image (we can read the words in your image and a report has been made to the admins) with vulgar words is no more acceptable than typing it in, even though the filters will remove the words if you type them.

Common theme among liberals. You cannot have a discussion and be on the losing end without your becoming vulgar and offensive.

I have very little use for either ideology anymore I guess I'm a Libertarian. All I know is vote out all incumbents! And If Hillary is our next Pres I will lose my last bit 'o sanity.

I'm neither as well. I am not Republican or Democrat. Conservative is the label that best describes me and libertarian is close as well, however, I do hold those anarchists who wrote the Constitution in high esteem.

PS.....is there something wrong with being pro-gun and pro-death penalty??

I an pro-gun, pro-death penalty, and a libertarian, I vote for conservative candidates, not RINOs either....
