I understand this Mcsancho otherwise the silver is good guy had a fixtation with silver I don't recall mentioning this particular metal so I'm curious why I keep getting compared to the said gentleman. Most of my topics are well thought out pieces please could someone explain the similarities thanks

Basically that is a 2 part question...

The first being Why?

Why is a question that man has asked for thousands of years. Always searching and seeking for the ultimate why.

The Second part is : do you get compared to Mcsancho?

The answer to that is yes.

Glad I could help you with this one. ;D

strike it rich...Personally I don't think you two share any similarities...
Mcsancho only had one thing to say....You on the other hand, have many things to say.... ;)

thanks for your intelligent reply however it was a one part question the reason of why I'am being compared to the I like silver Guy.

I like to lighten the mood with a wacky post or two. If you notice none of my wacky posts are ever offensive or sexist or at the expense of any other individal but myself being a figure of fun. This I don't have a problem with I,am serious to this hobby as the next guy/gal when I go hunting my funny hat comes off and I get serious I'am waiting to find something worthy of putting on the banner before I post pictures due also to saving for a much better model . If my wacky post's ever upset anyone give the moderator a nudge whom in turn Iam sure will tell myself and they will cease forthwith. I hope in my short time here I have afforded others some laughter as I,am by nature a humerous guy. But like I say is this isnt the place for humour tell the moderator and I will change my behaviour .

Rich, I'm not Sure Why.

But if at any point you are Offended by it let me know.

I'll start Deleting. ;)

I don't find it offensive in the slightest to be honest but thanks for your honesty like I said above I was just having a humour attack another thing about my really wacky posts they stand out a mile as being fabrications they were meant to. I think personally they would have been offensive had I went out and got an article and posted as a find just a thought.

Mcsancho went around trying to offend.

strike-it: I know a lot of hardcore hunters that won't even participate on forums because of the tons of seemingly pointless posts they have to wade through. So for me, I space out my posts for when I've found something truly worthy. Like if I've found a gold coin, or a important leap in technology that needs commenting on, etc... etc...

In other words, I don't think anyone here should go out of their way dreaming up 4 or 5 topics a day, just to throw out there for comment. It clogs up the board and drives away folks who just can't keep up on the reams of reading.

good point but isnt there a search facility for charter members as I understand you pay a small fee to become this is something I will use in the near future.

Hey SIR... everyone has their own ways of doing things so more power to ya buddy. If it make you happy to post like you doo, keep em coming. People will respond if it interests them. Many of us here have faced some form of criticism, me included, so sometimes you just have to ignore certain things if they seem to bother you (not saying you should ignore Toms post by the way, just speaking in general) We all have the same rights here and posting on this forum is a priviledge as long as you don't purposely try to offend people, which you obviously have not. Go for it!!

Smiles!

The bottom line is, post away if you feel like it.

If people like what you are doing, they will come to your posts and interact with you. If they think you are an idiot, hopefully they have the common sense to ignore you or just not visit a post that is started / made by you.

I wouldn't get stupid with it, ie don't start nonsense threads every 30 minutes, thinking you are being 'cute' or 'funny' or just to drive your post count up. That gets old real quick, but an occasional joke or jest never hurt anyone.

My 2 zincs.

your posts are entertaining...but a few like your comparision and changing the story on the metal detector rage...was strange! :D But your posts are more entertaining then offensive.... :)

No matter where McSancho posted his replies, they were mostly "silly" to the thread, and most made little or no sense.

Strike, you do have an unusual sense of humor posting alot of your different ideas to metal detecting. I have stated once or twice that some of your post are kind of "out there"...not the usual average questions most put on this forum. Sometimes you do come up with a pretty good question about detecting or the workings of a detector.

I would like to see some pictures of some of your finds you have made while detecting. I bet others would like to see them also. They don't have to be great finds, as alot of members have posted pictures of common clad coins, bottle caps, many trash items and the such. If you have some coin finds or some jewelry and they are the best you have found you can post them on Best Finds.Waiting for a "great" find to get it on the banner might take years for some.

Some of us like to see what others are finding so we can say, that we aren't the only ones finding that particular item or, he is doing pretty good, I think I'll try to find that, also.
