******ed. Someone emails me and asks if I'll change an auction to bin for $20. I change it and then they email me and say will I take 15 instead. I changed to best offer and they offer for $10! What a waiste of time. Should have just left it at the auction!

I emailed them and said really? I thought it was $20! So I ended the listing. Not cool.

I would have been p.o.! I have people do strange things like that on ebay and I always say no!
Best of Luck!

It is my policy NEVER to end an auction early. I try and politely state it is against my policy, but please feel free to bid and you might get it cheaper than you expected.

Should have just "send to online auction" the item at a higher start price and ignore and block the jerk.

That is a bummer, I usually never end an auction early even if it has no bids. The only time I do this is if I have one of my good buyers who bought a bunch of other stuff from me, I will end and auction to combine shipping and save them some money.

I had a guy bid an item in, then messaged me to ask me to end it early because he had been looking for this item for a long time.

When I said no, he canceled his bid! So I blocked him as a bidder.

I imagine he tried to bid there at the last and got a sad surprise.

I had some dummy from Brazil that wanted to bid on a $500 item that I had listed but he couldn't because I don't accept bids from countries I don't ship to.
I agreed and changed my listing preferences in order for him to bid. So the next day I get a best offer from him for $200 :icon_scratch:???.
I told him I paid more than that for the thing and thanks for wasting my time.
I changed my preferences back to where they were and put him on my blocked bidders list. Low balling piece of...:censored:
