who was the casino owning cash cacher?

This SOUNDS familiar...
Something to do with Vegas, the Bellagio or Benny Binion?

Ted Binion, owner of Binions Horshoe. Rick Tabish was caught right after his death trying to haul off 46,000 (forty six thousand) pounds of silver from a basement type complex he had built earlier. There is supposedly buried ricjes somewhere on the Binion house property. It has been looked for but supposedly nothing found.

Hell of alot of silver went somewhere.

HI BOB1

You the man! I must start writing every thing down. Thank you kindly.

Not sure on this one, since it was second hand from one of my grandfathers RR buddies. Binion was rumored to have had a /another vault out in the desert beyond Henderson. This was told to me back in the early 70s. We used to go scavenge lumber when the contractors dumped it from construction jobs in Downtown Vegas and he told me it was probably the same area. If you're in the Vegas area or have access to the library get in the microfiche newspaper files and start from around 1965 up to the late 70s. Look for articles on bodies found in the desert out there. That'd put you on a good place to start. Yes, those bodies were 99.9% guys that flaked on their markers. I know there were several people looking out around McCarren but who knows if they found anything.
