Ballad of the Bold Salvors
Beneath the waves, in oceans deep,
The shipwrecked secrets lie asleep.
In shadows where the sun won’t gleam,
The treasure waits, a diver's dream.
The salvors brave the tempest’s wrath,
With maps in hand, they carve their path.
Through shifting sands and reefs that bite,
They chase the gold, the gems, the light.
But on the shore, with cold disdain,
The bureaucrats in suits remain.
Their fingers point, their laws constrict,
With motives dark and hearts conflicted.
"Protect!" they cry, "the past is ours!"
Yet in their eyes, a greed devours.
They cloak their grasp in noble guise,
But truth, like tide, can’t be disguised.
The salvors know the risks they face,
The danger’s lure, the endless chase.
With every dive, their hearts ignite,
For freedom fuels their daring fight.
They battle storms, they brave the seas,
For history's gems, they earn their fees.
Yet, shadowed by the legal guise,
They must outwit the watching eyes.
For while the law should guard the past,
It's passion's fire that truly lasts.
The salvors' toil, their sweat and pain,
Bring history’s lost to life again.
So dive they must, through depths unknown,
To claim what time has overthrown.
For in the clash of wave and shore,
The spirit of the free will soar.
