10 could also be the mold or model #. I've seen some of those style rings with the #'s in convenience stores and in souvenir shops that are either silver or more of a pot metal.

Based on the design of the ring (as shown below in the photo that you posted in another thread), I believe that "G & S" is the mark of G. & S. Mfg., Inc. of Albuquerque, NM, a company founded in 1974 and specializing in biker jewelry. Much of their jewelry is heavy cast brass, either plain or plated.

(There is also a jewelry company called G. & S Creations in Verona, NJ. However, this ring dfoesn't resemble anything I've seen in their product line.)

Kind of looks like the ring part of a "slave bracelet " biker women wear them alot . They were very popular in the 80's . The ring and a bracelet were connected with a small chain.

G&S = Barbara Seidenath & Lydia Gastroph They were from Munich Germany. Both are still active. Seidenath in Rhode Island teaching at the college level and making great jewelry and Gastroph in Munich working in gold (nice stuff). Until 1986 many piece were Sterling afterwards most brass with a silver plating. Pretty darn sure on this information. I researched them when I was was trying to figure out who made a couple of biker slave bracelets I found in a hoard of costume jewelry I was sorting (5,200 lbs worth-not suggested unless you can be really really focused) Hope this helps! Definitely not Seidenath or Gastroph. They make expensive handcrafted art jewelry using precious materials. These rings are base metal (that I have seen personally) and not especially fine quality.
