Re: WHO KNOWS

Kind've looks like a small or part of a drive shaft to an auger or a grinder/mixer..
Probably not tho.

Re: WHO KNOWS

Almost looks like an internal pipe wrench. But the indented part needs to turn and be offset to grip the inside of a pipe.

Re: WHO KNOWS

It also looks like it could be a handle for a file or screwdriver, but it needs a hole in top.

Big Cy,

I had the same thought, but after I cleaned it
a bit there is no hole or mark where something
broke off.

have a good un...............

Re: WHO KNOWS

the only things that pop in my head are the tongs that they use to pick up ice blocks with (yours looks like rust has closed the gap between the points) and the second one looks like the handle to a screwdriver or awl.

just my guesses anyway.

Re: WHO KNOWS

Lipstick tube is my vote too. Are there any markings on it? Does it open?

Re: WHO KNOWS

The left one seems to be the end link of a chain.

Used for strapping. Something similar to modern day pear links

Re: WHO KNOWS

Still soaking in wd40.

JohnX,
perhaps.

Funk,
much much smaller, would be for ice cubes ;D
Have ruled out a handle.

R1,
could be, but a very small one if it is.

BB,
no markings.

AO,
no spot where it would have hooked up.
Very smooth.

Dug,
would be nice to open (if it opens), in wD40 now.

Angelo,
yes, some type, I think. ???

Thanks.

all have a good un........

Maybe a pencil case or wooden match carrier....

Re: WHO KNOWS

If its lipstick or case it would be very light thin metal.

If its a tool or auger/drive shaft it would be heavy steel.

Which is it? :)

Re: WHO KNOWS

Dtop,
could be, if it has on opening.

BigCy,
would have to say on the light side, but
not overly light ::) Boy, thats no answer
from me :P

Going to let it soak a bit more and go at
it with some pliers, see if it turns at all.
If that don't work try some heat, and more
soak.

Just may not have an opening ???

all have a good un............

.........All new information.

Was wrong when I said no markings.

Tried pliers and top would not budge.

Bottom was black, noticed just a few ridges,
so on a hunch............
Took my dremel tool and cleaned off the
bottom and.............

have no idea what type of tradmark or what?

all have a good un...........

Don't think it comes apart by looking at the grain.

Certainly not a lip stick.

My guess is that it's a stamp...but for what?

A stamp for letter sealing wax?
