Who is on this bottle stopper?

Is the man just a man, or is this an advertising piece for a company? I think that the hat is a Tyrolean hat, and he's clearly going hunting but I don't think that the dog is a Swiss Hound because the ears are too short.

The actual business end of it? Cork. The metal part? I'm guessing bronze, but I'm far from an expert.

the sellers pg says piece is marked germany
forgot to add,seller says. Rifle is a little bit bent
maybe a bad mold, or the rifle is suppose to be that way

That one looks almost exactly like the one that nhbenz shared with us. That guy seems to have a meerschaum pipe and as also seems to have an irish feel to him. I've been looking at mine for a long time, but it says Swiss Alps more than Ireland to me.

I dunno, I think all three could be German (alpine) hunters. German tourist pewter plates often enough had them portrayed as such, I think?

I was using the left facing as the one I thought it was a puff, now I looked at the right facing one it could be a feather, I see now it is probably Swiss/German or Austrian.Not Scottish.
