Just sent for the 4x6 DD Coil for my Whites Prizm 6T. Anything out there I should know in advance? Is it accurate on depth reading and VDI numbers..Does ot have good response time..Is the depth it can detect altered from what I get with the 9 inch coil?..Thoughts and any good ideas appreciated... Jim

The prizm shooter(4X6) seems to be very hot on my 6T. I turn the sensitivity down to min when detecting close to metal playground equip.or metal post. The shooter will do better in heavy trash than the 9inch, but won't get quite the depth. The shooter on the 6T will go deeper than any small coil I've ever used. It is very easy to pinpoint with and is very stable even with sensitivity at max in my dirt. I have not noticed any delayed response with the shooter, but smaller coils tend to force me to slow down to get complete coverage of an area. Wide open spaces I use the 9 inch coil for faster coverage, but around objects such as trees, fences sidewalks, playground equip. ect I use the shooter coil. These are the only 2 coils that I need for 99% of my hunting. I would like to see a 6x10 someday for the prizm, but at he present I don't feel undergunned. I hope you enjoy your new coil. HH Cal

Thanks Cal G for your response. In another week or so the snow , hopefully , will be gone and I can get to know the 6T like I should. I think its a great detector so far and have several good sites planned for the spring, summer and fall.
