Hello all,

I have been using my Whites GMT for a few months now. From time to time, when I go to grab the Iron ID trigger I will accidentally bump the coil cable. This makes the machine make a loud noise like it is going over a big target. It will also do this when I bump the coil into a rock.

It is getting quite annoying, is this a problem with my machine? Or is it the nature of the GMT.

Thank you in advance.

Make sure your control cable is velcroed to the shaft securely

I had a similar problem this last year with a new GMT 4x6 shooter coil. I've used the 4x6 before but somehow this one just seemed "off" somehow. Called Whites and sure enough, this one was part of a b@stard batch that had some production issues they were recalling. Call Whites; 800-457-0875 and talk to Jimmy about it.

Thanks for the reply Oakview2. So in your opinion, this is the normal operation of the machine?

Movement in the cable can make phatom noises, if the cable is secure and your are still expieriencing the problem, I would call whites toll free number and run it by them.... 1-800-547-6911
