Whites GMT.. for gold only, or..

Awhile ago I received an e-mail from a gentleman who has a GMT and I might be able to trade for it or purchase it..

The GMT is basically a gold prospecting detector. It will sound off on any metal and has no discrimination, only an Iron ID. It will pick up incredibly tiny bits of metal & will drive a person insane in a trashy park. If, on the other hand, you're going to go prospecting, it's one of the best VLF nugget detectors out there. ..Willy.

I wouldn't say that it's annoying... if you're prospecting. Some of the features of the detector make it a pleasure to use prospecting. Coin machines tend to get annoying out in the goldfields when hotrocks raise their ugly heads & the ground starts to sizzle. There is, however, one situation where the GMT could quite possibly outhunt a coin detector (not in the goldfields) and that is when looking for micro-jewellry on the beach. ...Willy.

He never did get back with me but if he does I think I would go ahead with it,
If I didn't like it I bet I could trade it to my friend who has the older one

Hate to get rid of my pickup but I don't really use it except when my father comes by to borrow it ?
