White's Field team converges on CT*Rare counterfeit CT copper & a $500 barber dime

Amazing weekend hunt with the White's field team crew.Thomas Boykin from White's came in from Oregon.Dominique Ivy Da Silva & Mark came down from NH. Edward Cropski, D.j. Yost & Frankie Buonanno carpooled up from NJ & Pa and Me & Todd Hiltz Took them all to some pounded cellars but everyone squeaked something out. bunch of buttons,a freaky solid iron face that possibly came off a old fireplace andiron that I'm gonna try to restore,a cool counterfeit Connecticut copper which is half the size of a normal CT and rang in with a VDI of 45 in and out of the hole. on the way home I stopped next door to an abandoned house and the guy said go for it.a few wheaties and a almost AU with mint luster 1904-S Barber dime.I opened the red book to peek and holy smokes! about a $500 dime. Thanks to the gang for coming and hope you all have a safe trip back!

Man, what a wild hunt. Congrats on all, especially the gorgeous Barber. Great to dig a scarce date and have that condition. Stunning.

Very nice finds. That Barber dime looks like it was dropped shortly after minting. The full Liberty in the head band and full shocks of wheat on the back. Congrats.

Congrats on the nice finds!

Sweet Barber surprise too.

Nice.

We call them Fire Dogs. (The item the head came off)

Dave, that's a solid group of finds. That barber is unbelievable. I like that iron chape - that's a survivor and dates to the last part of the 18th century. And the Connecticut - that's a wild one man. Big congrats!

SOLD! LOL.... Great finds, congrats!

Another killer hunt Dave :occasion14:. That CT is just awesome. The andiron head is going to look incredible after electrolysis. Great job man and congrats on the great barber too.

BOY YOU TALK ABOUT DIGGING UP THE GROUND CONGRATS ON THE FINDS.

The iron face is awesome, and your ID looks good to me. Cool recoveries. :headbang:

Pretty cool that you got to hunt with all of those guys and of course I love the $500 Barber dime very good condition I would have a hard time selling it
