I have a chance to get a 2nd MDer. Thinking of getting it for wife.
What info can anyone give me on A Whites Classic IDX Blue max 950. Not sure if its a Classic SL. Found on craigs list. Asking $375 or trade for a Kayak. I have a Kayak to offer trade if its worth it.
Is that a gooding asking price for MDer? How old of a medel would it be?
My Kayak was $650 7 yrs ago.
I think trade value for my Kayak is right. Just curious on MDer value. good/bad??

If your kayak has a hole in it make the trade.

I've seen MXT's for $400.00 not very often but you could probably get a used M6 or MXT in the winter for about $400.00 and with those you have alot more coil choices plus a better detector. The IDX is a good detector but don't think I would pay that much. HH

Could be as old as 1999, so not new by any means. Seems an awful lot of money to me though they were a good detector and were often underestimated.

Just a note I had an idx i didnt like it at all and im a big fan of whites. Don.

I think the IDX is a great machine but they usually sell for about $225 - $250.

I would pay around 200 to 250. Just sold a classic id/sl for 150 and the idx really isnt much different except for the 950 coil and black sand disc option
