So I recently got a beach hunter from a friend as my first MD. Eventually want to get a excalibur or a CZ21. But the beach hunter is going to be my main machine while I learn. So looking for some tips for this machine. Few questions I have are:

1) I can't seem to figure out how to tune in the machine for wet sand, my location is south east fl. The dry areas higher up I feel like I've dialed it in pretty good. But soon as I get near the surf I just can't figure it out.

2) I've been told to adjust the threshold to the point where I have a nice even hum, but at times it will just slowly get louder and louder over the coarse of just a few feet, and I'm constantly adjusting it. What's the cause of that?

3) And I also don't understand the ground feature. What does that do and when should I be adjusting it?

Help on any of these questions or any tips/info at all in General would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks TN
Ryan

Ya plan on it in the future. But gotta start some where right...

Thank you tho

If you got it from a friend have him take you to the beach and show you how it works .

Unless I missed it, you didn't mention that you got the manual for it
and read it. If you haven't, download it and read it (several times, if
it's like most manuals) and practice in your back yard or a park.

Here's the link to the manual at the White's website:

Good luck!
