White's 5.3 coil vs 6" excelerator coil
I have been using both coils for 4 years on the DFX, both detect about the same depth. With the excelerator coil I was able to get closer to big metal objects and fence. I think it was the design of the 5.3 that I could not get as close, so I sold the 5.3 coil. I figured 4 years of testing was enough time to tell.
