White's 4x6 dd coil vs 6x10 coil for nugget shooting

I just purchased a new MXT and have been reading that the 950 coil that came with the unit is not the best for mineralized ground for nugget shooting. Is the 4x6dd eclipes better for this purpose or the 6x10dd?

Get the 6x10" DD and max out both the sensitivity and Hypersat. If you want to get a smaller coil, get the small DD elliptical Excellerator coil from Kellyco. I used the MXT for nugget hunting with the 6x10", at those settings, in ground reading 84-86 and did damned fine. All the way from Alaska to Arizona, I had no problems. After a bit, you figure out what's spurious noise and what's a good target; you'll find stuff everybody that runs their detector "smooth and stable" walks right over. ..Willy.
