So I spent e entire afternoon garage sale hunting and I think my best find besides a shop vac is this white bottle for .50 bam!
There is a twist... What is inside bottle is what looks to be old thin card board and what feels to be some padded weight inside... I'm freaking out and have not yet removed the contents... The bottle is almost exactly 11" long

Any insight into the age and what the use of this bottle was will be amazing! Hank's in advance guys ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1472943283.393868.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1472943303.651463.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1472943322.939199.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1472943338.757669.jpg

It reminds me of a stoneware bottle used for german wines.
I Googled what I was thinking about but couldn't find the exact match (to what was in my head), but this is very, very close - and might be what you have?
Circa 1970. (?)

Rheinperle Havemeyer Liebfraumilch Bottle Stoneware 1969

Or just Google "Rheinperle" and you can probably find much better images to compare with yours.

How much does the weight inside weigh? Kind of reminds me of the bottle flower vases we made years back. We'd take a cool shaped bottle and spray it with that instant marble paint and a gold band or two and sell them at the swap meet. Could honestly say they were original one of a kind without grinning.

Weight - keeps it from falling over Paper - keeps fake flowers arranged.

Looks like a home project - like someone took an empty bottle and coated the inside, maybe with plaster of paris or something. ...Maybe a kid making a special gift for Mom??

Could it be a mouse nest in there?!?

The bottle reminds me of a German one I had (and sold). My friend got it for me a long time ago from an antique store.
