I have to agree with you doe's not look that old or spooky to me either..I ain't there so I don't know for sure but, that doesn't look too old and sure isn't spooky to me. Good luck.
What is in the chimney? Is that a toad Did you bring a detector and swing it at all? Any tones?
Had some old tools, metal smelting dish etc. laying around. Place made me nervous, I took nothing except photos. Wont go back alone.View attachment 1160343View attachment 1160344View attachment 1160345View attachment 1160346View attachment 1160347View attachment 1160350
diggummup... I am with you there ... if i found that place i would have never left it until i detected it and checked it out the best i could ... And the tools and dish would have went with me..Personally I would love to find a place like that to detect. That's what this hobby is all about. Heck, I'd have to camp out there a night or two just to make sure I gave it a good thorough going over.
I like the feedback thanks T.H.ers, what I can say is I got the leads for this hunt from a old obscure book.I could find no imfo on the internet that co-insided with the book. So far in this area I have seen a overgrown cematary, a overgrown rock wall in a field , a deserted ranch with L.D.S. sign{Mormans}, off the hiway all dirt roads. Very little traffic,no stores/gas stations. So far I have not located the outlaw clues I am seeking. This is a place time forgot. Hard to believe but true.
