Hello everyone!
My name is Gabrielle and have been detecting for a few years before moving to the island. I am wondering how its going for everyone? I ordered my new detector and excitted to get started on the island. If anyone is free mornings or afternoons and would like to try new areas let me know.
FYI
Metal detecting is permitted at more than 67 state parks throughout Washington. Users of metal detectors must register first with Washington State Parks and comply with posted regulations. Rules are summarized in “Your Guide to Metal Detecting in Washington State Parks,” available from park rangers or by calling (360) 902-8500; Telephone Device for the Deaf (360) 664-3133.

Howdy neighbor! :hello:

I’m in Southern California, very close to the beach.
So I get to metal detect about three times a week. I just love it. Feels like I’m on a permanent vacation.
I bet it does beautiful place you are! Point I'm not far from the water and I love it! Can't wait for my new detector to arrive and I'll be doing that 3-4 times a week myself-

As an old surfer who can’t paddle out any longer, I really enjoy connecting with the sea and that is what metal detecting the beach does for me. The surf, sand, pelicans and the sunshine really helps me connect with my roots. As always, Best of luck!
