Which one?

I own a F2, it's a awesome machine for a beginner. But I feel as if ive outgrown it after a year of use. I'm looking to upgrade my detector. I want a machine capable of going deeper than the F2, and GROUND BALANCE IS A NECESSITY. I want to know if anyone recommends, has owned or had owned any detector in the $350 price range. I've looked at the ace 350 on a few forums and from what i hear, its junk. same with the MInelab 305.. So does anyone have any recommendations? (Also just a note, don't tell me to save my money for an AT pro. lol)

The Xterra certainly isn't junk, the low end of the Xterra line, but not junk. Maybe you need to up your budget?

I uped it and I should have my F5 by late march/ early April!
