Where's the "D"?!?!
I went out for 6 hours today, and here is what I have to show for it. I found a few neat things, my favourite is the little piece of what I think was part of a bracelet, top middle beside the spoon in the pic. It's engraved "Donald Smith", and I think it was gold plated.
I was hoping the little case would be filled with coins, but no luck...it was old make-up. The ring is gold plated. My 1914 Wheatie doesn't seem to have a "D" mintmark...no matter how hard I look.
It was nice to get out for a bit.
