wheres all the silver?

16 boxes in the last month and only 12 keepers(3 different banks,harris,chase and lasalle)might have to work out a different plan.i live in chicago,thinking about ordering from the outskirts of chi-town and seeing if there a difference.i know i know its still 12 keepers,better the getting skunked,BUT I MISS MY SILVER!

I know how you feel. After my first two boxes in November, I've hardly found anything. I'm not in the Chicago area, but it seems that I may have started getting halves too late. There must be someone else in upstate NY that's beat me to most of the good stuff. I have noticed that there have been some halves in the boxes with marker on them. I've found one with Kennedy's ear filled in, one with "RJB 2/2005" on the reverse, and two with a big "A" on Kennedy's head. Hopefully, this week's box will be better.

I don't blame you. You results should be higher (based on the posts on this forum).

I only got back into CRHing (after a 35 year absence) in mid December. I had a real good last two weeks of the year and have followed that with a terrific January ('07 stats below). Call it beginner's luck, but I wouldn't give up. The silver and/or missing coins for you collection are still out there.

Keep plugging away.
