where to find Oklahoma rose rocks

I am on the last leg of my adventure in Oklahoma. Does anyone know of a site near McCurtain Co. where I can have a chance to gather some? I like most people prefer to find my treasures on my own, and not buy them from a gift shop. I only have a couple days left in this great state, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

i used to belong to a gem and mineral club at the ymca in barttlesville okla homa and we found some rose rocks just outside of the phillips research center in the hills not for sure whst side we were on i was in the 4th grade back then.

Sorry juju, I was (computer broken) at the time you were here, but if you get to come back, or anyone else wants to collect some 'Rose Rocks', the area is just south of Norman OK, in the Noble area, also around lake Thunderbird I am told.
