where is Corrigan's Beach?

someone had stated that Corrigan's Beach was about 5 miles north of Vero Beach. I asked some locals at Wobasco plus the lifeguard and they never heard of it. A surfer in his forties said maybe it was Corrigan's Reef and he said to try at the "Turtle Trail Beach" access. Is this the entry point? How far north or south to the beach near the wreck reef? saw a few snowbirds detecting there but to them it was just a beach near where they were staying.

thanks for your help,
Jere

About 3 miles south from Wabasso

The Turtle Trail beach access will put you about halfway in the middle of the beach/wrecksite known as Corrigans. It is about 2 miles south of 510 in Wabasso. (look for the small parking lots jammed in between the condominiums) There is another beach access before that, called SeaGrape, that will put you on the north end of Corrigans.

Both are good places to beach hunt, but only after nor'easters and hurricanes. Way too much sand on the beaches right now.

The actual ballast pile at Corrigans is south down the beach from Turtle Trail, about 3000 feet
