When lightning sets off your machine.. it's time to go.

So the other day I hit a lot I had been too 3 times already...pretty much feeling like I got most of what my machine would get... until further earth moving anyway.... on my way to the grocery and before a big storm.... well I walked away from the main action, in and amongst a bunch of trash and found this little cuff button laying ON TOP OF THE GROUND... eyeball find, of course I swung the Tesoro over it just to hear the music :tongue3:.... BOOM, big crack of lightning and thunder, getting close but I didn't want to leave at that point, until it started raining... so I kept swinging... could feel the cold air of the approaching rain....come on one more button or a coin.... then another crack of lightning that was so close my machine light up and pulsated with the brightness of the bolt... don't think I will push my luck like that again!

Side note: Cleaning this Barber dime I tricked myself into thinking it was some kind of reale after finding 2 others.... I became fixated on the "fat lady's" face...thinking I had something really different then realized I was looking at the coin upside down... :laughing7:

Been a sweet spot... 63 coins so far!

Yall have a good day... Go Gamecocks!

Ehh yeah, had a couple close shots in my day with the lightning, being out in a open field, with me as the tallest available target lol. Just one more goodie then I'll go..feel you on that one.
Awesome nice finds you have there, love them virgin spots.

Nice finds! I'd love to find a 2 cent piece. Still on my "to find" list. I think I'd head for shelter in a thunderstorm too! I don't think any machine on the market today will run on 50 million volts....at least not for long! :laughing7:

Great finds!
