When is the best time to list a Filson hunting vest?

I'm not sure what they're worth. Actually I have no idea but I wouldn't hang onto it at least put it up there by now or best offer. At least that's what I'll do!

Since you didn't provide a picture - I jumped over to EBay and did a quick search (vintage Filson hunting vest) and got a bunch of hits clovis97. I find EBay is a great way to see what is selling and what for...you might give it a shot until other's pipe in...

It's the right time of year to list this type of item, hunting seasons are opening soon for small game and migratory birds. This means hunters are getting itchy trigger fingers and are looking for gear. Your item may not need a season being collectable, vtg. or what not but I know around here the guys are pulling out the shotguns and cleaning them up for season soon.

Wow, nice! C.C. Filson and Co. stuff is excellent, and tends to command very high prices. I have a Filson wool coat that regularly sells for upwards of $250. I'm keeping it for myself, of course. Filson clothing is as much of a fashion statement as it is a utilitarian garment, so you really cant go wrong, spring or fall. You could even wait until pre-xmas, you might get the best price then. But overall, I'd say you con't lose with that one. Nice find!

To answer your question, I would go with an auction. I just checked, and they tend to sell for between $75 and $200. I don't know what you have exactly, but I have a general idea. I've only found one filson in the wild, and it was a hunting hat. Still sold for $50+! Great find again, those don't appear often.

Thank you for the replies!!!! They are appreciated!!!

I bought the vest at a thrift store, and paid $3 for it.

Again, thank you!!!!!
