The wooden spoked wheels that I've seen for autos never had a hub that wide. Looks to me like it may be from either a buggy or a small axle wagon that may have been pulled by a pony or mule.

Thanks Jim. When I cleaned the dirt out of the center of the hub, there were old rusted nails inside too. It was in one of the side lawn areas where I've found other farm plow pieces, so a wagon or cart is probably right.
I'm just glad it's not part of a YUGO. ;D
