I’ve been hunting an 1850-1950 farmstead site at lunch maybe 10 times in the last year. Every hunt is fun and a handful of old relics pop out plus wheats. 7 more wheats this week brings the total at this site to an even 2 dozen. Never a clad coin, never a nickel, never a silver coin, just a single 1900 IHP.

This site doesn’t give up the 1800’s stuff very often, mostly early 1900’s. ID’d as most likely 1950 Tootsie style toy.

This gave the highest VDI I’ve seen on the Nox.

Here is an 1800’s CW era piece, my first shoe plate.

The handful (note looks like the shank was re-soldered on the flatbutton at some point)

Good luck out there!

Looks like the bat mobile Same thing here with the wheats I think people would bend down and pick up anything they dropped above 1 penny lol and they were obsessed with pulling off the pop tops lol wheats sre cool though that candle stick holder is sweeeeeeet

Very nice finds! Hmmm all the markers for silver are there, keep swinging that site and it will give it up!:icon_thumleft:

Man that's a nice assortment! Congratulations on getting a shoe plate! :occasion14:

I have a similar site. 15 wheats, 2 IHP, one LC, one shield nickle and a 2 cent. Not one silver. The LC, shield, 2cent and one IH were in the same hole.

that Tootsie is pretty nice, always love them but those relics are very cool. keep pounding that site, time to be digging those iffy signals and the crappy ones.

You are describing the hole I am looking for here! Thx

Thx! This site was a relatively big farm operation before the Turnpike went right through it, now part of a park. Plenty of iffy signals, loads of iron and hundreds of shotgun shell-bullet casings. But enough keepers to entice me back hunt after hunt.

Congratualtions on the great hunt! :occasion14:

Wow very cool finds! Love the candle holder! Congrats! :icon_thumleft:
