The Deep was good

A Simple Plan

taught a great lesson on how to keep your mouth shut and what could happen if you can't

Hmmmm never saw "The Nugget" ... have to look for it at flea market.

Well I can't remember the name for the life of me, but I think it was *the motherlode* all I can remember about it was they were working a mine shaft, and near the end water broke through the side I think, and there be the gold. inspired to go for the gold, but school, life got in the way. another favorite was the Goonies. always wanted to find that old wishing well after that. plus the name chester copperpot is perma stuck in my head.

"The Goonies" LOL

Honestly, if the requisite theme is going after a cache or treasure, I would have to say "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" is my real favorite.

I still liked "The Goonies" though.

Mine is - The Deep (Peter Benchley)
I watched it over and over as a kid... of course Jaqueline Bisset in a wet T-shirt for most of the movie helped... Never got bored with that.
And yes it inspired me... to attend every wet t-shirt contest I could. j/k

Boy On A Dolphin - 1957. Sophia Loren in a wet top puts Jacqueline Bisset to shame.

I would say,it's hard to pick one. There is inspiration in most of them. Hay, they are far better than watching the slang and antics on TV now! Frank five star.png

I love the movie Last of the Dogmen with Tom Berenger. Guess that's a different kinda treasure, though.
The Tom Berenger did it for me, lol. Hey BL, always loved Sophia Loren, too. She still rocking it, at like 800 yrs old, now. :laughing7:

That one movie with kate hudson and matthew mccaignehey Fool's Gold, was pretty good.

I liked fools gold... if you liked that you will like "into the blue" the main character in that reminds me of me... if that makes any sense.

You can have Sophia... I'll take Jacqueline ... k....??? ok then... let's party :)

You can have both of them if I can have Raquel.

100 Rifles ... She takes a shower at the water tower to get the train to stop.

Wasn't she in One Million Years B.C. as well?
