whats your favorite metal detector?

Since I started in the hobby in 2007, I have had one water detector, my Tiger Shark, which I absolutely love. For land hunting, I have owned an XLT, Cortes, F2, F70, Gold UMax, Vaquero and Xterra 705. The Xterra is my favorite of those.

My buddy has one of those he swears by it

I mainly use a White's MXT and that is my go-to machine. For salt water detecting, I use a Fisher CZ-21. Still have my Bounty Hunter as well.

The one that works for me right now.My ace 250.

That's like asking which one of your kids is your favorite. I can't pick just one! Lol

CTX 3030 since first beach trip with it last weekend! Simply an amazing machine.

Mine is the Minelab Explorer 2.

Mine is the same night-explorer: The explorer II. A lot of guys have tried the next generations of explorers, and gone back to their explorer II's. Very versatile. Great tones. Good all around coin-relic-jewelry machine. At home in wet salt no problems. And decent at target separation for things like junky parks and ghost-townsy and urban demolition things, considering what a power-house it is.

I've gotten to where I use my Exp. II for just about everything now. The only backup I have, is a 2-filter tesoro for the most extreme nail-riddled places (under porch tearouts, etc....)

Out of the machines I've owned, gotta say the Outlaw. Super light, amazing machine. My Explorer SE would be second.

Anything that says WHITES on it. My V3i and BHID mostly at the moment. Now and then I break out my old 5900 Di Pro SL for the heck of it.
40 years of a Whites fan. :)
